Middle school-aged students join us in the summer for three weeks of intense acting study with our professional teaching staff plus actors from the summer Shakespeare repertory company. These enthusiastic young people delve into scene study, stage combat, theatre games, improvisation, movement and specialty workshops that build their skills as they mature as actors. No audition necessary but a passion for theatre and acting is important for this program.

In the summer of 2012 The Old Globe will provide a unique and exciting opportunity for High School-aged actors and actresses to refine their skills as performers and perform at The Old Globe.
Students selected for The Old Globe Summer Shakespeare Intensive will study classical theatre technique, voice, movement, stage combat and more while rehearsing for a production of two of Shakespeare's plays. The four-week program will culminate with a performance of both plays on The Old Globe's outdoor Lowell Davies Festival stage.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to receive high level training at one of the nation's top regional theatres.

After-Camp Program
Come finish your day of summer camps in Balboa Park with fun theatre games and activities! After-campers will discover the world of theatre through improvisation, imaginative play, creative dramatics and design. For children in grades 1-5.
