For many years California Bank & Trust has been a major sponsor and generous corporate partner of The Old Globe, and in 2011 the Theatre is pleased to announce California Bank & Trust’s sponsorship of Hershey Felder in Maestro: The Art of Leonard Bernstein with an extraordinary gift of $75,000.
California Bank & Trust graciously provides both volunteer and financial contributions and has been connected with the Globe since the late 1980s. In recent years, the Bank has sponsored such plays as Boeing–Boeing, The First Wives Club, The Lady With All The Answers, Antony & Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, Pericles, Smash, Henry V, Floyd Collins and many more.
Senior Vice President, Private Banking Manager Sandra Redman serves on the Globe’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee and has been instrumental in California Bank & Trust’s generous support of the Globe’s Securing a San Diego Landmark Capital and Endowment Campaign and assistance with the acquisition, renovation and financing of the Globe’s Market Street property – The Globe Technical Center, located in one of California’s 42 designated enterprise zones. Redman also has served as Globe Gala Co-Chair, helping raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for core artistic and education programming at the Theater.
On behalf of the thousands of adults and children who benefit from the Bank’s generous support, The Old Globe would like to thank California Bank &Trust for its unwavering support and enduring partnership.
